Looking at the depth chart for the Ravens early today, I found out that Dan Cody, who was out last year for a knee injury, was still on the team. I wondered what ever happened to him? Then afterschool, I saw this article about Cody becoming a potential starter at Outside Linebacker in the '06-'07 season. But there are things that come along with it. From Baltimoresun, it reports: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Without a second legitimate safety, team officials have projected that the Ravens could start four linemen, four linebackers and just three defensive backs (two cornerbacks and one safety) - a formation that would allow Cody to get on the field as a starting linebacker.</div> I'm okay with this. First, the Ravens went 46 when Rex Ryan was defensive coordinator. But since we are losing starters on defense (Will Demps, Tommy Polley, Anthony Weaver, and Ma'ake Kemoeatu), we had to replace some of them. Anthony Weaver will be replaced by Trevor Pryce, Haloti Ngata will replace Ma'ake Kemoeatu, and possibly Dan Cody to replace Tommy Polley (Who is still a free agent). But the safety position concerns me the most. We gave up a possible re-signing of Chad Williams, who went to San Francisco and didn't address the safety position until the second day of the draft. In other news, the Ravens might not get Steve McNair until July. It seems that Jeff Fisher will continue to dangle McNair until the Ravens offer a 4th round pick rather than the 5th which he was initially offered. This is definetely a retarded move. McNair should not be used like a toy, he has done more to the franchise than Fisher ever did. He was the face of the Titans/Oilers. I never liked quarterbacks, especially old quarterbacks (i.e Brett Favre, Vinny Testaverde, etc.) but if I was in the Ravens locker room, I am willing to welcome with open arms to the team. He can do better than what the Titans have done this offseason. And he will be reunited with Derrick Mason. Yeah... I write so much for the Ravens, I should have my own column one day for the Ravens, LOL!

But I doubt it is Fisher that is doing this. Bud Adams and Floyd Reese have to much control for Fisher to be doing anything like that.
