    The numbers were not good.

Warriors shooting guard Jason Richardson was not playing well in the second game of back-to-backs, and the statistics proved it. In his first 10 games on those second nights, Richardson shot 35.3 percent from the field and averaged only 10 points per game.

In his past four games in the second night of back-to-backs before Saturday's game against the Chicago Bulls, Richardson was shooting 50 percent from the floor and averaging 22.8 points per game.</div>

Richardson has really matured through this season, one good thing to take away from this season.

Man, it had to be all mental for him. He has all the ability in the world to be great. Excellent physique, long arms, good speed, and leaping ability. It seems that the mental aspect of the game is pretty much why he would suck on back to backs. Now if he can improve his mental game so he could hit all his free throws and hit those open 3's he'd be in better shape. This guy hit those free throws. He just needs to work on it some more.

Richardson seems to be the one bright spot in an otherwise lost season for the Warriors. He has shown himself to be the one piece that we can and definitely should build around for the future. The fact that he has done better on back-to-back nights just shows how much better and more mature he has gotten as a player.

^ I'm hoping that he will be- the western conference guards are not as deep as everybody thinks. Kobe and Peja are basically a lock for guards. The other 3 or 4 spots are up for grabs- maybe Ray Allen, Steve Francis, and Jason Richardson? By next year, I believe that he will be an All-Star caliber player.

If the Warriors come into next season healthy and have a respectable record, which I believe they will have, I don't see any reason why Richardson wouldn't be voted an all-star.

He just has to really step it up and put this team on his back. This is his team for the taking. Just keep up the good work Jrich. Keep working out hard in the off season.

Warriorfans have u posted that pic of u and J-Rich yet? Have u looked at that 50 top verticals in the league thread yet? Anyways, I hope Jason Richardson becomes a allstar. I've only seen him play twice, I've never heard of him until his first DC. Just like to see more of him, and bring Golden State back to being televised like in the early 90s.

    How good are your seats?

Back on topic... I think the injury of Nick helps JRich a lot. From this point on, it's up to him to discover that he can be one of the top 2 guards in the league and that no one can stop him. All about confidence... becoming the team's leader can help him a lot.

My seats aren't going to be great. My friends bought a family pack or something, 40 bucks a ticket I believe. But I'm going to try and get there early.

Here is how I got a picture with Tim Roye. I am in the Air Force and I think he and Greg Papa are former Air Force. So I emailed Tim one day while I was deployed about the Warriors and he wrote back talking about the Air Force and stuff. He told me to email him any time. So I emailed him a week or two before a Nuggets game about 2 years ago. He said come on down and we could talk in person. So we talked on the floor and introduced me to Greg Papa and Greg asked me if I would like to meet a few of the players during their shoot around. Jamison had already gone inside, but I was there with Damp, Foyle, Murphy, Richardson and our back up pg, I forgot his name. Argh. Well my pregnant wife and I took a picture with Richardson and the other pg. He was a light skinned guy. He did not play much but when he did, I was really impressed with his hops. I still have not found that picture. I found one I took of Damp dunking during a game, but I will have to look a little harder. Hey Rudeezy, usually after the game you can go out on the court and the players will come out and sign autographs and stuff. Maybe you can get in there that way...That is how I got one of my hats signed by about the whole team.

Sounds like Dean Oliver was the point guard. Damn I'm good.

    Here are his hops.

That is correct. Good job. We could use him again. Where is he playing now?

And he has better hops than that, in pre game warm ups his head was close to the rim as Jrich's.

    Dakota Wizards of the CBA

Why don't we just bring Tim Hardaway out of retirement. At least he can retire as a Warrior. He was the best point guard we've ever had in the last decade. Picking up Rusty Larue, who is a career 37% shooter in the nba, and not even a good point guard in the NBDL just shows me the Warriors were either trying to be cheap or trying to throw the season on purpose. They might as well have picked up a homeless person in Oakland and suited him up in a jersey for the same ability and cheaper rate.

Like I said before, I doubt Tim would wanna play for a bad team like this- he'd want to close out his career with a championship or at least a playoff run. Maybe he'd want to play here for the sentiment though... who knows?

hahahaha- "They might as well have picked up a homeless person in Oakland and suited him up in a jersey for the same ability and cheaper rate." How much are they paying LaRue, anyways?
