Ricky Williams has asked the league to hold a hearing for him to specify his status to return to the Dolphins....I think he should start with a hearing in his own locker room, since those guys dont want the loser back....I hope they reinstate him and they trade him for draft picks right away....perhaps Baltimore is looking for a short term solution at back to fill the shoes of the incriminated Jamal Lewis....

He just doesnt want to give money back, even if he is suspended as long as he reports he doesnt have to pay it, so he is out a minumum of a year, but keeps his 8.6 million.

I gotta go with BF1 on this one. Ricky may be dumb, but he's not stupid. Or at least he pays people to help him not be stupid.

BF1 is right. Its all about the $. What happened to Ricky declaring bankruptcy. I bet he realizes he's screwed legally.

Rick Spielman said the Dolphins have "no comment" i.e. they want no part of him.

As I understand it, RW & Leigh 'super agent' Steinberg just want to clarify his status. Appearantly, the paper work was handled in more haphazard mannner than TO's was last Feb.

Were I Spielman, I would unload this idiot asap. I don't care if its for a pair of 3rds. You know Al Davis is licking his chops to acquire yet another undesirable, castaway, etc...

Umm...thats not true....the Dolphins have been awarded the $8.6 mil and even if he comes back, he still owes it....the way the contract was written, it states that if he holds out, they can recoup all his bonus and incentve money, which is $8.6 mil, but he is still under contract, at the league minimum for several more seasons....he screwed himself when he signed the incentive laden deal after the trade....by agreeing to those terms and then holding out, he ends up under contract for years at little to no money....hes screwed either way....his only chance to have some money anytime soon, is if they trade him and he signs a new deal with a new team....
