The true question, however, might be easier to answer than deciding between one or the other: Why not both?"Sure," Dolphins coach Nick Saban said. "I think that would put two good players together."And just like that, something incredibly intriguing was born. There is a possibility both could be used together in tonight's fourth exhibition game against Tampa Bay at 7:30 p.m., when Brown makes his Dolphins debut. So what happens when you put them both together at once?"I would hate to have to play against it," Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor said. "That's two great running backs, and they can do a lot of things together. That would be scary. If they can get it together, that would be great."Earlier this week, Saban used the pair together during practice for the first time."I think it is a good idea," Williams said. "In football, you always want to put the best players on the field." Link

Simply because his heart isnt in the game.Ronnie Brown has to start IMO.

Brown > Williams. This is like the second coming of Brown + Williams. Lol. I think it's a dangerous duo. If the RB core does what it's supposed to, Miami is suddenly a power again. Remember - they had a SWEEEEET defense last year.

How are both going to start? What formation would they be in? Brown does need to start and I agree with Venom on this one. However I would love to see Ricky start, it'd be classic!

Feeley or Gus Ferrotte running the offense. [IMG]

w/e you just see frerotte will do fine. ricky and ronnie are a good one 2 punch almost like thunder and lgihtining(tiki and dayne). The dolphins will do good if they can put some point on the board. The defense is great this year. im really impressed with channign crowder though. he can play al the LB positions. the D cna shut donw just abotu anybody. the only big ? for the fins is the ofeense and if we cna get that going. the dolphins are a great football team again

umm tiki barber and Ron Dayne never worked out. SO saying that ricky and ronnie will be like them is not really a good thing. But I agree, the dolphins will do well this year. (In comparison to last year at least)

Ricky and Ronnie go perfect in the same backfield, Ronnie in college shared time with cadillac and both played at the same time, mostly ronnie at the fullback, so ronnie has experience at the full back, besides ronnie has excellant hands! Ronnies not selfish so he's not going to complain, also Ronnie is a great blocker, so ricky at the halfback and ronnie at the wish bone or at fullback will be a perfect scheme

While they could do this for a few plays a game, they would get destroyed if they tried to do this all game long because Ronnie Brown would not be able to block like a fullback to prevent his QB from getting killed.

I never said all game long, but it would be very effective, he already showed he can pass protect in the first game, so from we have seen he has made a smooth tansition, also When you use a two real halfbacks your not using ronnie as a lead block fullback, you are using delays, switches and fakes to keep the defense guessing, making ronnie just a lead hole blocker would be pointless, even though he probably could handle it
