looks like Ricky has landed a deal in teh CFL, good news for Phins fans who know that he won't be spending any more of his free time in a holistic school but actually handling a football

I am really mixed about this I'm glad to see he is playing. I just hope he doesn't suffer a catastrophic injury.

I wonder how willingly he did this. If this was his doing it does show that he is focusing on football. Furthermore, it looks more and more like RW's overuse by Wanny contributed to his "retirement". Granted, it was secondary to the marijuana but stil a factor IMO.

For the record, I have no problem with the Holistic healing school.

Ricky needs the money. HE has some debts and some "people" to pay off.

He really doesnt have any debts....he does have 4 children and a monsterous monthly support bill....the $8.6mil judgement the Dolphins hold goes away if he fullfils the terms of the deal, which he seems likely to do....as long as he plays out that contract(2 more years I believe), that judgement goes away....I think he needs the $240k, but to pay the child support more than anything....

I think Ricky will thrive in Toronto and hopefully shut theisman up! I think this experience will help ricky get his mind right, he has tremendous talent all he needs is to change his mindset towards the game

Theismann's broadcasting "skills" are a disgrace to the game. That bozo is one to talk...

Ricky already said he likes the atmosphere....he likes that hes not as big as a celebrity there as he is here....he likes that the people are "nicer"....he likes that the day is shorter, and only require about 4-5hours of football related activity....the hold up the past few weeks has been because the Dolphins wanted in writing, that Ricky would come back after this season....I suspect that it wasnt because they feared the Argos wouldnt let him come back, but because they feared Ricky wouldnt want to come back....I predict right now, that Ricky Williams will fall in love with his CFL experience and attempt to finish his playing days up there....I also predict the Dolphins wont allow it....

Too true. Why couldn't Lawrence Taylor have hit him in the jaw instead?
