Riders Acquire Tristan Jackson From Eskimos

    The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have acquired import kick returner Tristan Jackson in a trade with Edmonton. In return import defensive back Ladarius Key was sent to the Eskimos.

    Jackson (5'8 - 185lbs) has played the last three seasons with the Eskimos after signing a free agent in May, 2008. He had 109 kick returns for 2,361 yards and one touchdown and 178 punt returns for 1,700 yards and three touchdowns.

    In 2010, the 25-year-old Central Arkansas product played in six regular season games after starting the season on the nine-game injured list. In that time he had18 kick returns for 355 yards and 27 punt returns for 170 yards.
