<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Riley said it's not Jones and Grant who should be ''beat over the head'' with the fact that they make so much money (a combined $26.7 million next season alone) -- but Riley for committing that much money for that long a period without considering the future.

But Riley also said the money would have gone to two other players anyway, so it's unlikely the fan base would have been particularly happy with the alternative, either.

``People talk about Brian and Eddie's contracts, well, they don't factor in the point that we were going to have to pay [Jamal Mashburn], too, and we were going to have to pay P.J. [Brown]. There were going to be other players that were going to slot into their dollars.''</div>

At least if you're going to post, give some input don't just say garbage, common.

All I can say is I'm happy we have Jones instead of Monster Mash, but I wouldn't mind having PJ right now, him and Grant are pretty similar in that they both love the midrange jumper on offense and don't use much back to basket.
