A Spanish Web site said Miami Heat President Pat Riley was to meet with guard Juan Carlos Navarro at Barcelona before continuing to Africa on vacation. The Washington Wizards are expected to trade Navarro, their second-round draft pick in 2002, after re-signing guard DeShawn Stevenson and the Washington Post reported Memphis and Cleveland have also inquired about Navarro, who plays on the national team with Memphis All-Star forward Pau Gasol.Link
Not a surprise, this was a couple days ago but the Heat's number one option is clearly Navarro now. The Wizards do have to trade him away because they don't have the money to sign JCN to a decent contract. I expect some sort of trade to go down within the next 2 weeks.
