    John passed away today. 86 years old. I distinctly remember most of us on the ESPN board not liking him as the Rangers coach towards the end of his tenure and I'm almost certain that he was the inspiration for the first "Dump-x" moniker.

    Wow you guys were posting on the ESPN boards back in the late 90's? I thought that began around the time Renney was there.
