The Angels pitcher was killed in a hit and run accident last night, a few hours after he had pitched in their game against the Athletics. http://www.tmz.com/2009/04/09/angels-starting-pitcher-killed-after-ball-game/ Someone else with the Angels was also killed the accident.
Being a huge Angel fan, this hurts a lot. Adenhart was a great talent and pitched one hell of a ball game last night. Artie Moreno and company love to grow their talent, they don't like trading them. I got to watch Adenhart grow over the years and his potential was endless. Fitting his last inning pitched was a 1-2-3 inning. Incredible talent, taken away by some prick mother fucker who got behind the wheel drunk. He was 22 years old and had the world by the balls. Such a sad, sad story. R.I.P Nick Adenhart.
Yeah. Police caught him on foot trying to run away from the crash. I hope the mother fucker dies a slow and painful death.
Yes it is suspected that the driver of the car that slammed into the vehicle Adenhart was drunk and he will be charged with DUI, Felony Hit and Run, Vehicular Manslaughter, and probably murder. He was driving on a suspended license from a previous DUI, as well. He's 22. He deserves to rot in hell for killing 3 people, possibly 4 if the person in the hospital doesn't make it out alive.
Stunning. I just watched him pitch against my A's...and now he's gone. It's just terrible. Following sports is supposed to be a refuge from the misery in the world.
On ESPN it said that he was the best pitching prospect for the Angels, so who knows what he could of been in the future. RIP.
Horrible news. I've lost a couple of people to drunk drivers and it devastated the families. Please don't get behind the wheel when you've been drinking. A DUI is the least of your concerns. STOMP
