"Doc is absolutely the right fit for our NBA broadcasts," said Michael Pearl, senior VP and executive producer of ABC Sports.

"He brings the experience of being a game analyst and former player and coach, and his style is fresh and opinionated. We are thrilled that this worked out for us to be able to bring him onto our team," he said.</div>

Seriously, lol. Magic will win though. Good for Doc, he'll be a great TV analyst. Hopefully he will get back into coaching soon.

I always thought Doc Rivers was great coach. He could really relate to the players. Its sad to see his coaching career end this early however he will make a great announcer. I mean there is no way he can not be worse then Bill Walton.
