In the news earlier, I heard that the San Diego Chargers are rumoring that they will trade Philip Rivers to SF for the first round pick (1st overall)! That would be an amazing trade and will make the Chargers a force to be reckoned with since getting into the playoffs. The Chargers will be the one that's getting a better deal since Brees has had an outstanding year in SD.
I read this morning that it's just a rumor. Rivers isn't going anywhere... I also saw last night on ESPN that the 49'ers are considering taking Braylon Edwards with the first overall pick rather than trying to choose between Smith and Rodgers.
You heard that Charger fans? It was a rumor! Haha! Now the Chargers isn't going to be that hard to beat now.
