QUOTE

Richard Jefferson has dealt with a lot of issues in the last year, from an injury that cost him 27 games, to tabloid rumors and trade rumors. Then during the Cleveland playoff series, Jefferson lost his grandmother.

1stly, interesting to see some players were calling out Jefferson...that's not good, and that coulda been some of the chemistry problems we were facing last season. It'd be interesting to find out who those "Nets" were.
2ndly, I didn't even realize to his grandmother...that's sad to see, sometimes you don't really think about these things when you look at how a basketball player performs.

RJ loves to play and is extremely competitive and plays hurt and hard for us every single night, yet he basically got called out for opting to fix his ankel? i really cant imagine that that was the friction going on in the lockerroom. RJ doesnt sit out games or take himself out. he would play 48mins hurt if he was allowed to and would give 100% trying to win that game for us. so for someone to call him out, if this is true, is hard for me to believe. there had to be addition stuff mentioned with the kidd/carter marriages said too or something. hopefully that is all behind them because when RJ is 100% he makes us 10x better

I expect that RJ has a nice year this season, 20 points 6 rebounds and 3 dimes, that could make him to be an all-star. And I really want to see that he is an all-star, he deserves it, at least at some competition at the SF position, he would get his respect.

This is one guy's motor that should never be questioned, the guy was hurt, and while he's down he can rip off 100 one liners about himself, and I'm sure that's where others saw him "faking" it. Basically making a joke about himself. Honestly, I'd love to see him finish his career in a Nets jersey alongside Kidd.
