Villanueva is talented and can be a big time player, Simmons is a solid role player and the first helps us to prepare for rebuliding for Brooklyn the Goal being to be the best possible team in 2010.

QUOTE (Jizzy)

hey, i proposed that deal a year ago on BBB.

anyways, keep RJ and trade our backcourt.

Great Minds....

Trading a player when he can maximize their value isn't a Thorn strong suit and that trade doesn't come close to getting maximum value for RJ

If you are selling high, that's not enough for RJ. It doesn't matter anyway because selling high goes against everything Rod Thorn stands for.

Simmons was injured and missed last season and he just returned on Wednesday to the team from a personal leave

This trade is based on the idea of blowing the whole thing up I.E. KIDD and VINCE as well. A lot of teams have all star capable SF some have two, I love RJ and he is a really good small forward but he's not that valuable if you really consider how deep that postion is in this league.
