Hopefully if we want to keep winning games. His ability to draw fouls on his drive has been pretty underappreciated so far.

It's been great, and he shoulda had the ball in his hands at the end of the 4th. I'm disappointed it just didn't happen.

At least he is better than LeBron James at free throw shooting area.

Stop calling LeBron the King, this damn hyped guy. RJ should be hyped.

    King Jefferson > King James

That's such a huge improvement. He was freakin shooting only 0.733 last year and now look at him go.

That would be insane if he could keep hitting them at that rate...especially if he keeps getting to the line almost 10 times a game.

I would love to believe he can do this all year long but FT shooting tends to even out as the season goes on. Can he? yes, will he? Probably not. I do see him finishing in the high or mid 80's though which is fantastic.

I'm sure shooting is one of the main things he's worked on during the offseason. I love how Jefferson does that--Boki, Vince, and Wright were all getting noticed for working hard during the offseason, and here comes RJ, pretty much out of nowhere, taking on the bulk of the offense with Kidd.

Not saying he's going to keep it up all year. But shooting at least 90% on the year seems likely, and that alone gets him into the top 100 free throw shooting seasons of all time.

Making 67-69 free throws at any stretch in any season is impressive.

Down to 87%, things always even out. I can see him finishing somewhere around 85 or 84% though.
