Sprint Cup driver Robby Gordon was placed on indefinite probation Saturday by NASCAR because of an altercation he had with driver Kevin Conway in the garage area Friday evening. "His [Gordon's] actions were brought to our attention early [Friday] evening," NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp said. "We met this morning and reviewed the situation and have reacted accordingly. We will continue to look at this situation involving Robby Gordon." Tharp said Conway was not penalized. Gordon and Conway had a business relationship last year, and Gordon has claimed in recent reports that Conway owes him money. Gordon has filed a lawsuit against Conway. Conway declined to discuss the matter, but said he filed a police report Friday evening. Read more:
