So far in pre-season...knocking down the threes,rebounding the ball and getting the points on the board Last night v the Knicks he had 12 points 5/6 shooting 4 rebounds 2 assists 1 block in 19 minutes If he can come in and give the team a lift like he has done so far...then that will be very good for the team...He won't be forced to play that much like he did in L.A so he will have the legs to get that shot off better Looks weird in a Spurs jersey...
So Rasho and Duncan will be starting. Horry and Rose and Willis will be coming off the bench so will Horry be playing small forward? Or will Willis be third string and Rose and Horry will be playing both Power forward and center?
Horry will likely back-up Duncan....While Rose will back-up Rasho...as Malik can play both PF and C...or when Rose is in the game TD can also play abit of center.Willis will be 3rd string in the center spot.Horry won't play SF...That spot is already been locked up by Bowen followed by Hedo...This is what I reckon after seeing how Pop has used the player rotations so far..
If he gets min he will produce for them. The spurs need some one to come of the bench and give them the depth!!!
Spurs have the most depth in the league so depth will not be a problem...If Horry can come in and hit a few threes,play tough defence or rebound a bit in little over 10 minutes per game...He will be a key member of the team. But the team is stacked with players who can come in and score off the bench Hedo Mercer Rose Carter even Willis can give the team something
And neither have the words of Lakers and Classy But seriously...unlike L.A... Spurs won't play him big minutes and burn him out...As I said 10 minutes per game MAX

And I have seen Horry play more than you. I watch almost all the Laker games each year, and I too have seen him play in college and in Houston. He used to be one of my favorite players. Why do you keep bringing up this junk of him "playing too many minutes last season." Madsen, Slava and Samaki Walker (even Soumy Samake) all got playing time, so Horry wasn't too overworked. (only early in the season when Shaq was out) Just face it, the Sp**s picked up a player that is too washed up. Why do you spell the Spurs like that?...He is not washed up....He might of made that shot in game 5 if he was given less playing time...You need to understand that the more you play mainly when you are older..You don't get the lift in your shot..and he didn't last season....And don't expect Horry to guard Shaq at all next season...much less get dunked on by him...I want to find out what Shaq even turns up this season...
