<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">STARKVILLE ? It's much easier this time around for Lawrence Roberts. The MSU All-American isn't spending every minute trying to decide whether to return for his senior season.

That was his plight last summer. Roberts did decide to return to State, but not before going through the same pre-NBA draft work as he is doing right now.

He has hired an agent ? which he didn't do last summer to maintain eligibility ? and looks forward to going through the full evaluation process.

"Last year, it was hard," said Roberts, who attended the NBA's pre-draft workout in Chicago and one private workout with the Portland Trail Blazers last summer. "I was going at it by myself, with help from my mom, and having to make those decisions. This year, all I have to do is play, work out for these teams."

Roberts, an All-SEC selection in his two seasons in Starkville and the SEC player of the year in 2003-04, returned to MSU with hopes of making the jump from a projected early second round NBA draft pick to being a projected first rounder. And, he wanted to win a national title.</div>
