It appears that the "taking it like a real pro" comment was a little off the mark. Robinson wants out now that he is not starting. It falls in line with his basic personality. He cannot get it through his head that he is no longer the all-star he once was. He can only do one thing now and that is shoot. He is not willing to work hard so he is out. Simple.

But i could see this being true, it wouldnt surprise me out of Robinson. His attitude and game do not fit into the young, fast 76ers of the future. I say try to get rid of him while we can, even draft picks would be better than the caner he is.

You really need to verify that Robinson,"wants out" with an article or something.I think he could be valuble for us as a shooter off the bench but thats it.I would rather keep him this last season on his contract,so we can save cap space in the end.

Yeah I saw it on CSN too, I wouldn't be upset if this happened, he doesn't really play a huge role in Philly.

Man, guys like Glenn Robinson should have absolutley no rights for demanding a trade.

In a related topic, there's a conversation going on as we speak:

Billy King: Yo, Wut up Kev?

Kevin McHale: Billy? ... What's happenin' boy?

Billy King: nothin' much, wanna switch whiners?

    Kevin McHale: Whatcha Got?

Billy King: How 'bout I hook ya up with Big Dog and Olie for Spree and ma main man AC (Anthony Carter)

Keving McHale: Com'n dawg, dats weak .. dig deep, dig deep, do I hear a 2nd rounder?

Billy King: Aight homie, ya got me there boy,I'll toss in a future 2nd rounder, but it ain't like you gonna give Spree dat extension anyways ..!

Kevin McHale: Nah man, it ain't happenin' .. anyways, we done man, we agree .. just gotta check with KG, ya know ya gotta keep da MVP happy.

Billy King: Tell me about it, back in 2001 I had to listend to more Hip Hop than I never did before, and I also had to pretend that I hate practises and am a big fan of TuPac ..!

Kevin McHale: Tru tru, but this ain't it .. gotta deal with other issues too ya know.

Billy King: Oh yeah, you gotta deal with Sam as well, ain't he askin' for an extension too?

Kevin McHale: Nah man, that Allien ain't a problem, just waitin' for J Kidd to play couple of games and I'll ship him to Jersey .. ya know .. he could shoot the bricks out, no body could tell him sh!t there .. let Thorny deal wid it!

Billy King: Aight homie, gotta bounce fo' the Eagles ya know, we agree on the deal?

Kevin McHale: ye ye, gotta call Sterny tho, he got to approve it ya know.

    Billy King: Aight Kev, Holla!

Kevin McHale: Holla at ur boy.

Well, Robinsons a pretty nice complement to Iverson because of his high shooting percentage but thats basically it. He'll only hurt the team because of injuries and hurting the development of players like Korver, Dalembert, Green, and Salmons. We already have great veterans on this team with Mckie and Marc Jackson. Still, I'm not sure on who should we trade him for. But definitely someone with a first round pick... well duh.

I definitely think a Sprewell-Glenn trade could be possible.

I thought the same thing but it sounds like the T-Wolves are intrested in trading him for Jason Kidd.

I`m trying to think who we could get for Robinson. [IMG]

He is a good player who could start for alot of teams in the league, we should get someone worth while.

I am thinking more along the lines of a bench forward or maybe a decent center for Big Dog, remember it's the last year of his contract so many teams would go crazy for him, but a lineup of AI, AI2, Spree, Kenny, and Marc Jax doesn't seem to bad either.

I would rather see the Sixers bring in a young center then bring in a 34-year old Sprewell for Glenn, or just hold onto Glenn for a year and take his money and sign a decent center.

It'll be intresting what happens with Glenn Robinson.Should we keep him and wait for his contract to expire, or trade him? Right now I say its to early to trade him,Robinson seems to be handling the situation well, and who knows he may play well off the bench.

Besides, when it comes to shooting the ball, its not one of the Sixers strengths.I know one thing Robinson will bring to every game is,perimeter shooting. With him coming off the bench,I wouldnt mind seeing him coming in the game when we really need to score.

If we were to trade him,I would want a player in the same caliber.Swingmen like Desmond Mason and Spree wouldnt help us much.Players who can shoot like Cutino Mobley and Jim Jackson are the type of players the Sixres should eye if they want to trade Robinson.
