<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If enough NBA general managers tell Richard Roby what he wants to hear in the next two months, the Colorado guard said he will probably hire an agent, closing the books on his college career.

Roby, the Buffs' sophomore scoring leader last season, declared himself eligible for the NBA draft last month but said he would not hire an agent in order to keep open the possibility of returning to CU.

Roby said he is still sticking to that plan, but he could change his mind if he becomes convinced he will be a first-round draft pick. Roby said he is taking several courses at CU over the Internet to make sure he maintains his eligibility should he need to return to Boulder.

"I won't get an agent until a team says they will take me, enough teams," Roby said in a phone interview this week from his home in San Bernardino, Calif.

Roby said he has gained 10 pounds since the end of the season and is working out feverishly in nearby Riverside, Calif., in preparation for individual workouts with NBA teams, which should begin in mid-May.

He said he still feels good about his chances of being drafted in the first round of the draft in late June despite other underclassmen declaring since his announcement.

Roby said his good friend Antoine Wright, a rookie with the New Jersey Nets, has introduced him to a personal trainer named Brad Smith. Roby plans to spend some time in the New York area in the next month working out with Smith.

"I'm just trying to get in the best possible shape I can be in," Roby said. </div>

I havent seen much of this guy, but I think he's too skinny to play 3 so he'll be stuck at 2 and if you draft him you wont have the option of using him at both swingman spots depending on matchups. I hope im making sense, but from what I hear he's a good shooter.
