Knowing what you do know now, Are you happy we drafted Hakeem Olajuwon over Michael Jordan? It'd be great drafting MJ and having our franchise being talked about on a daily basis but people don't understand how great Hakeem was.You may say 6 rings are better then 2 but if we did draft Jordan, Jordan would not have the Pippen to play that vital 2nd role.You can't also assume that we would've won 6 rings if we drafted MJ. I think coaching has to do with winning and Phil Jackson takes some credit for all the rings MJ has won. The question is would Rudy T. or B.Fitch lead us to 6 rings like P.J did? Who knows..I don't know if im happy or not. I mean look, MJ is the greatest player of all time. He changed the game and globalized the league.But I still think we could have traded Sampson to Portland for the second pick. Then take Dream at #1 and Jordan at #2. I just want to know your guy's opinions...
We won back-to-back championships. Can't argue about that.If MJ was on the Rockets, I don't think he woulda been as successful. I don't think he'd ever play with Rodman, Pippen or Phil as a coach.
