<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Mobley scored 13 of his 31 points in the second quarter as the Rockets matched their longest winning streak of the season with a 97-86 victory over the New Orleans Hornets. </div> I hadn't noticed the Rockets' pattern of winning when Cat scores big, but one thing I have been noticing is the increased consistency of Yao. This was actually a quiet game for him, despite 17 points and 9 boards. He's raising his bar of performance, which is impressive. Equally impressive, and more important to the Hornets, was the play of Jamaal Magloire. Although his stat line doesn't jump out at you, he put up solid numbers against the second best center in the league. http://www.nba.com/games/20040311/NOHHOU/recap.html
Baron had a real good game but the rest of the team didn't respond in his plight to win. The whole Rockets starting lineup had a good game, Cato doesn't need to score, 5 boards and 2 blocks is alright still (more boards though). The Hornets have GS next and need to start winning if they don't want to lose their 4th spot and also home court advantage in the playoffs. GO Hornets and GO Baron.

Though I think that, with all their players healthy, it doesn't matter what seed the Hornets get, as they'll be able to dispatch any other Eastern team. Only the Pacers ought to give them trouble.
