Did anyone else in Houston go? If you don't know what it is, it's a 2 day event where they set up half courts on the streets around the Toyota Center. You can get a group of friends and sign up to play. They had 3-Point shootouts, dunk contests, and all other sorts of good stuff. It was around $25 to register. You are guaranteed to play 3 games, get free stuff (t-shirt, water bottle, etc), but my favorite was the free ticket to Sundays Rockets game against Portland. Me and my friends were in the 17yr old division. We lost both of our games, but we felt like we could have easily won. In the 1st game the Ref was horrible. He never called the fouls and I have scratch marks and cuts all over my arms. In the second game we got didn't know how to play well together, and there was alot of individual stuff going on. Right now we're 0-2 with another game to go tomorrow. We win we can still make it to the playoffs. My team knows we can, we just gotta focus.
