According to ESPn, the Rockets have agreed to a trade.

Houston Trades: Eric Piatkowski and Adrian Griffin
    Chicago Trades: Dikembe Mutumbo

Pretty good for both squads even though I think Deke could of really help the baby bulls Chandler and Curry on a few pointers and what not. But the Bulls do recieve Eric which is a deadly 3 ball shooter and Griffin could be a good role player of the bench.

This is an average trade for both teams. Neither of them really lose a great player and none of them gain a great player. But if I had to say someone got the better hand it would have to be Chicago.

A good trade for the Rockets. Neither of those two guys would get significant minutes next year, and we needed a backup center. Mutombo played well in limited minutes last year for New York, and I expect him to provide a solid 15 per game in Houston. Perhaps more, if Van Gundy decides to experiement with a Yao-Mutombo front line.

I like this trade for both teams. Both teams filled some needs without giving too much up in return.

Chicago fills a big thing that they needed which was to get a big guard in Kowski and get a good vetern in Griffen. I would have liked to see Mutombo in Chicago, but he did not want to behere so it was a good trade for the Bulls team.

Why didn't Mutombo want to be in Chicago? Was it David Falk's doing?

He didn't want to be there cause he wanted to be on a title contending team.

I've been out of the loop hole for awhile. I didn't even know that Mutombo was on the Chicago Roster. That's a good but old back up center for Ming.
