The Houston Rockets defeated the New Orleans Hornets tonight 83-74. The bench for the Rockets really played well tongiht as the Houston starters only scored 57 points. After being down 43-39 at halftime, the Rocket rallied and outscored the Hornets 26-12 in the third quarter. The Rockets were led by Maurice Taylor who came off the bench to score 17 points. Cuttino Mobley scored 16 points and Yao Ming added 15 and 10 rebounds as the Rockets snapped a three-game road losing streak. Darrell Armstrong led New Orleans with 17 points off the bench.
