With the recent loss of the Magic against the Raptors they(15-14) are almost now even with the Rockets(16-15). With a promising 13-6 start the Magic's GM took his pride that he got the better deal in the trade. He felt sorry for the Rockets' 6-11 record. Now the Magic felt the pressure of losing games. Both teams share their part on losing key players to injuries during games. Who got the better deal right now? I know that it's too early to tell but what's your opinions?
The Magic will definitely see the greater improvement in the short-run. I'm sure Magic fans are much happier to be around the 500 mark than Rockets fans. The Magic also have a decent chance for playoff success, whereas the Rockets have zilch this season. Long term, I think the Rockets will be alright assuming CD doesn't make major blunders, but the Magic have a bright future as well.
Well , actually the rockets got the better trade cause. no.1 grant hill came back, no.2 they got a first round draft pick.

The Magic didn't have a player the caliber of Yao before the trade, and neither did they have role players like Jim Jackson and Mo Taylor already on the team. From a stats viewpoint, the Magic got the better end of the trade, and the trading of Cato really hurt our team in key areas.
I don't know. The next upcoming games for the Rockets are going to be tough, such as Phoenix, San Antonio, or Indiana. And with the performances that they've been having so far, Phoenix is probably going to slaughter Houston, which will absolutely kill our momentum from the last two games. Its definitely going to be hard the next few weeks.
