Nov 12 - With the Rockets making the move to send Steve Novak to the NBA Development League, Novak said Sunday he thought it was a good idea. Novak had been inactive for each of the season's first six games and played in only 35 games as a rookie last season.

"I think it will be very good for me," Novak said. "I think it will be very good to play in games. I've been working out and practicing hard, but to be able to play in games is what I need right now.

"I know I'll be back soon. I just have to work hard and get better. This really is a good opportunity." -- Houston Chronicle

I like Novak's outlook on the situation. His enthusiasm to improve his game in the NBDL is something that a lot of inactive nba players lack.
