Brooks, who is expected to bring more speed to Houston's roster, signed a multi-year contract with the team on Saturday, agreeing to a deal just over a week after being selected in the NBA Draft. During his senior season at Oregon, Brooks led the Pac-10 in scoring with 17.7 points per game and was known in the conference for his quickness.
