Sorry I was unable to post a preview...been very busy the past few days. However, I was horribly disappointed in watching this game. Again the Rockets blasted out to a great lead, 11-4, and won the first half, leading by nine...only to be outscored 29-14 by a weak offensive Nets team who has the hardest time scoring in halfcourt sets...The Rockets managed to comeback several times, even holding a one-point lead late in the 4th, but they couldnt overcome the Nets' clutch plays...Ming played horrible, shooting 2-9 while easily having the height advantage down low..Francis played superb and was the Rockets' lone offensive star, with 26 points and 7 assists on 10-16 shooting...The Rockets again started hot but folded miserably, just as they did against the kings...The Rockets, once 8 games over .500, stand now at 6 games over .500 with the Grizzlies and Nuggets in hot pursuit of advancing in the Midwest...the Rockets better pick up the slack quickly, because there is little room for error in the West, let alone the hotly contested Midwest Division...

Bad one to lose. We've gotta pick up the slack now. A loss in our next game would be plain unacceptable. Good to see Francis finally break out of his recent slump though. 7 assists again, that boy is improving.</div>

K-mart really step up in the 3rd quarter. And RJ made a couple big plays in the 4th like that turn around jumper over Jim Jackson. The Nets are now 3-0 under Lawerence Franks and have won their last 4 games in a row. Hopefully the Nets have turn it around for good this time.

Yao was very disapointing in this game, 6 rebounds and 9 points in 29 minutes. The Rockets need him to play better than this if their going to win, especially against a team like the Nets, who are weak at Center comapred to the rest of the team with Jason Collins starting. Steve Francis did break out of a slump though.

The Rockets had pulled in close, but they just couldn't reel it in.

Yao was terribly ineffective tonight. The Rockets have a very bad record when Yao can't make at least 18 points and pull down 10-12 boards, which he failed to do tonight.
