Can someone please explain to me why the Redskins are looking to move this guy. I think he's a damn good WR, and for a team that need's WRers it makes no sense to get rid of this guy.
Cross your fingers and hope he comes to play for the Eagles. I, too, am a fan of Gardner's. I think he's only a halfway decent QB away from a really solid year. The 'Skins haven't had anyone decent to throw to him yet. He'd probably do cartwheels if he got out of that hell hole.
The Packers, Bears, Cardinals, and Cheifs had all shown interest at one time or another but it never escalted to more than an interest, I hope he is able to get out of washington so I can really see what the guy can do he has tremendous talent, I think if he went with the Cheifs he could put up 1100+.
Being a Clemson guy, I love Rod Gardner....but he must not be as good as I and most of us think he is or really smart football guys would have paid the small price to get him....I dont know what the problem is, becuase he seems to be a really good WR, but there must be some baggage....
Eh...the QB's in Washington since Gardner has been there... 2001 - Tony Banks 2002 - Shane Matthews/Patrick Ramsey 2003 - Patrick Ramsey/Tim Hasselbeck 2004 - Mark Brunell/Patrick Ramsey Despite the fact that he hasn't had a decent QB in four years, he did have a 1000 yard season (2002) and has averaged about 50 catches, 600 yards and 5 TDs per year. He's good. It's the rest of the Redskins that suck. P.S. He has a career PASSER rating of 94.0. He's gone 2 for 7 with two TD passes. I think that 94.0 is the best rating for QB's in Washington since he's been there.
hes been complaining the same way as Coles has. Hes not happy with the offense or Gibbs coaching. I wouldnt mind being moved either from Washington, besides the fact that i hate them with passion, but the QBs havent been the greatest. i dont know why teams havent jumped on this guy hes a solid wr

he should just play QB throw it up and pass it to himself they'll probably have a better chance of winning

Its a 1/3 Gardner's fault. He is VERY inconsistent, not because of teh QB but he drops at least 2 passes a game that are catchable. If you throw the ball 40 times in a game then he is your type of guy, but if you are a running team who likes to use short west coast stuff, than he is not your guy. He also had Coles on the other side so......
