As it turns out, there was a valid reason Rod Thorn has managed to maintain his sunny countenance amid the hideous circumstances of the current off-season.

According to two officials in the Nets organization, the team president is "likely to sign" a contract extension later this month, and the working numbers are $15 million over three more seasons.

Good move. I'd like Rod to stay, he's one of the best GMs in the league.

Yeah.. I'm glad to see Rod Thorn stayin.. I don't like his move about dealt Kenyon Martin for 4 1st rd picks and Kerry Kittles for 2 2nd rd picks.. Actually, it isn't his fault about Kenyon Martin.. Kenyon is ****** greed!!!! He have no loyatly.. I used to like K-Mart but he declined Nets' offer 6 years 64-78 millions..
