Nice piece by Casey Holdahl on NBA.com about Rodney Hood’s recovery process. I like his attitude about being back next season for a title push: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nb...oming-back-better-player-and-having-fun-rehab
Nice! Of course, it doesn't show them bringing the step ladder over so he doesn't have to drop from the rim.
Could be a decent backup at the 3, I just prefer defense at that position and I can’t name just one guy with an Achilles or ACL injury that played good defense after the injury.
I haven’t forgotten how hard Hood balls out there. Dudes going to get better coming back, he hasn’t even peaked yet. Next season should be a very interesting one!
Um yeah, he didn't say he couldn't name six guys... he was saying he couldn't narrow it down to just one.
Yeah, Wes, Rudy Gay, LaPhonso Ellis and Nique all played at the same level defensively after their achilles ruptures... I also think KD will come back and be effective. As for ACLs that's just a ridiculous claim. Kyle Lowry and Baron Davis blew their ACLs in college and were both incredibly explosive in their careers. Baron Davis was a nice defender and Kyle Lowry still is. Corey Brewer played some of his best seasons as a defensive stopper after having blown his ACL. The list of guys who have come back from ACLs to play great defense is too long but those are just a few examples.
