"Perhaps no player in the NBA represents the hard-to-pin-down concept of "upside" more so than Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey.

It's not that Stuckey has ever been a bad player. In fact, he's pretty much been a rotation-caliber player or better from the moment he arrived in the league, a pretty good accomplishment for a non-lottery pick out of a small college.

At worst as a Piston, he's been a slightly in-over-his-head starter pressed into too large a role too soon. At his best, he's one of the strongest guards in the league, an absolute beast when it comes to getting in the lane and drawing contact, a player who takes pretty good care of the basketball and someone who can give competent minutes at either guard spot depending on matchups."
