Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey flew in from Seattle during his offseason just to be a part of the 7th annual Dayspring Center mini golf classic. The Dayspring Center provides shelter for homeless families.

“I just want to give back and be involved,” Stuckey said, who served as the celebrity putter at the golf outing.

The soon-to-be free agent is certainly hoping that this summer will not be his last to represent the Pacers at a charity event. Last summer, Stuckey signed a one-year deal with the Pacers for the veteran minimum. Stuckey made it clear when chatting with Indy Sports Central today at the event that he wants to remain with the blue and gold.

“Obviously, I hope to be back here and I think we’ll figure something out. I’m not really worried about that,” Stuckey revealed.
