Carlos Rodon in his last start of the season can't even get a single out and gives up eight earned runs. Obviously, we can't wait to see how the remainder of this contract plays out.
It's going to be a long long 5 years. With Trashman at the Helm, he will wind up trading him in a year or 2, get nothing in return or a bust of a player. He will eat most of Rodon's contract in said trade, then Rodon will go on to have a couple of good years, elsewhere. Imo Trashman has never known what quality pitching is, and BaBoone knows even less. Montas another bust. Rodon looks like his mechanics are off, especially with his abrupt follow through, arm angle and release point.
He has no luck at all. The pitching and timely hits were absent this season. For the playoffs, I'll support the O's. They are in the division, and they are exciting to watch. I absolutely don't want any Texas team!
