How anyone cheers for BJ? Yeah, he is hated, just like Kobe is hated, but look at his accomplishments. Physically, he is everything an MMA fighter should be. Penn is a former UFC Lightweight Champion and UFC Welterweight Champion He is currently ranked by Sherdog as the #2 Lightweight fighter in the world Penn had, with only three years of training, not only received a black belt but defeated people who had been training their entire lives on his way to winning the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Penn is thought to have earned the fastest black belt ever. He has never been submitted or knocked out. His resume is impressive my friend... You cannot deny his greatness in the sport..., Anyone who appreciates jiujutsu as a martial art and the sport of MMA, appreciates BJ... Just like Kobe (which Im a fan of), many dont appreciate his personal behavior and attitude.. but thats beside the point. As a fan of MMA, BJ is my favorite fighter.... I probably wouldnt care for him a person, but as a athlete in the sport, I think he ranks up there with the ELITE...
Don't ever compare Kobe and Penn, again. Penn is a bitch who has an excuse for everything. Kobe has taken responsibilities for his losses. He's never accused an opponent of cheating after being dominated for 4 rounds. Penn and Kobe are nothing alike. Stop trying to make some fake connection in your head to paint BJ in a positive light. When his head is right, Penn is truly an elite fighter. The problem is, there have been too many times over the years when his head/heart aren't in the game. If he would stop making excuses and blaming everbody else, he would have a better chance of living up to his tremendous potential.
