Ronaldinho Hopes For Napoli Start

Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho has expressed his desire to take to the field this weekend, in the crucial contest between Milan and Napoli at the San Siro.

Ronaldinho has had a pleasing start to life in Milan; however he was unfortunately ruled out of the midweek match against Siena, because of injury.

The former Barcelona man, who spoke from a party to celebrate the launch of the new video game, Fifa 2009, gave his thoughts on the upcoming match this weekend, against the joint league leaders Napoli: “Napoli are going through a very good period at the moment, and they therefore deserve our respect.”

“We must give our best,” added the Brazilian, who is desperate to take to the field, after missing the Siena match, and a poor performance in the Atalanta match prior.

“I am convinced that after having found the right determination to succeed on the field, we have now passed the initial critical point, and will continue to climb up the rankings from here,” he concluded by saying.

Ronaldinho had some final words for two legends of the game in David Beckham, relating to his forthcoming arrival to Milan, and also for Diego Maradona, who recently was appointed the new coach of Argentina.

“I am so happy that Beckham will arrive in Milan shortly, and I hope that he helps us, as he is a player of many good qualities.”

“I have always been an admirer of Maradona and I wish him all the luck in the world for the Argentinean national team. Maradona remains one of my idols.”
