Yeah guys, I was going to say Rondo for player of the week but I'll leave that up to you guys but what a player huh? Last 5 games versus Chris Paul, Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, Steve Nash and last night Chauncey Billups. (W) v. Paul = 6pts 8rbds 11assts 3stls (W) v. Kidd = 19pts 15rbds 14assts 1stl (L) v. Williams = 15pts 1rbd 7assts (W) v. Nash = 32pts 6rbds 10assts 3stls (W) v. Billups = 14pts 8rbds 8assts 1stl 1blk Now you have to agree that those are some of the best PGs in the league at the moment. (there are others too but these are all star quality pgs) Also remember Rondo is 23yrs old and can only go up from this point on. I still like him to improve his shooting, if he can get that going on together with his speed, he will be unstoppable. (what a steal he was huh? damn good job by ainge) Comments??
Rondo's a great PG. You're right, if he improves his shooting he is going to be unstoppable. He's already quick and freakishly athletic and a great passer so the only flaw in his game is his shooting and range.. but with Ray Allen as a teammate, I think he can improve really quickly over the next couple of years. Go Rondo, Go Celtics!!
Hopefully for his entire career ) He may be a future superstar... then when he's winning Boston's 20+ th championship KG, Pierce, and Allen will be on the sidelines watching with Bill Russell and other Celtic legends hahhahaha nice image..
