They suspended Nocioni a few years ago for a "history of hard fouls". Now Rondo has the trip on Hinrich that led to stitchets, hitting Miller in the face for stitches, and now Hinrich into the scorers table. That has to warrant a suspension.
Unfortunately the league office doesn't want to make anyone look bad, and the officials were smart enough to inoculate themselves by talking about it forever. Overturning a call that they stopped the game to look at and talk about would be an admission that those clowns just plain can't call the game. Which they can't, but the NBA is never going to step up and say that.
If they called both Flagrant 2's, which they should have, Rondo would have had an automatic suspension for accumulating 4 flagrant foul points....
I'm counting more on Rondo's ankle being really twisted than I am that he gets suspended. But he should be. The guy went from being the best player in the series to be a thug in about 20 minutes of gametime.
