According to a report in the Miami Herald, Ronnie Brown has agreed to a contract and will report to training camp on Monday. The Herald, citing "two NFL sources," is reporting that the deal will be for just under $20 million in guaranteed money over five years. A report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel said Brown was in Miami on Sunday night, while the Herald claimed he was coming to town on Monday morning.

Thats good, i really want to see him in the preseason. Good thing for the dolphins to get him in camp, they are really gonna need Brown in 1st 4 games because Ricky will be out

Well Nick Saban likes to run a 2 back system like he did in LSU. So I expect Ricky to get a lot of carries yet this season. Brown will get the most but Ricky will see 8-10 a game. Maybe more.

Well Ricky will be a lot happier because the offense sucess isnt all on his shoulders. That is one of the reasons he left. Ronnie Brown i think is gonna do a lot of blocking and recieving his 1st year. If Ricky returns back to form, and they use a two back system and both are in i think Ricky will get the ball because Ricky isnt a very good Run blocker

Rob Konrad will do the majority of the blocking. Saban likes to use fresh legs a lot. Which is why he wanted Ricky back. To have 2 steady backs. I am guessing Williams gets traded at the end of the season though.

I believe Konrad was cut and he retired, I may be mistaken though.

konrad was the fb on the Dolphins before he got cut and retired. from the look of rickys first preseason game he has a long way to go before he gets back in form.

Rob Konrad left the Dolphins to go to the Raiders via free agency. However, he retired because of the pounding his body had taken and he felt like his heart wouldn't be into playing anymore.
