    After hitting his first career grand slam, Junior Lake came up next time with runners on first and second with nobody out.

    But instead of swinging for the fences, the 23-year-old rookie dropped down a bunt for a base hit that eventually led to two runs.

    That extra offense proved vital in the Cubs' 8-5 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday.
