<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">LAS VEGAS ? There's no guarantee of instant success, but Nate Robinson and David Lee shouldn't have any problem making new friends in a city well stocked with pessimists. The comparisons will come in a hurry. Robinson is a free spirit who plays full speed ahead in the manner of John Starks. Lee is a disciplined opportunist with a nose for the ball in the mold of Charles Oakley. In other words, the determined rookies are going to be popular Knicks if they can somehow find their way into the rotation. Their individual codes of conduct sound eerily familiar.</div> The Journal News This was a great article. You really learn a lot about the rookies. Even Channing Frye.
I think that Robinson, Lee and Frye are welcomed to New York and will exell with the Knicks. Lee and Robinson are putting up great numbers in the summer leauge. I'm a little worried about Frye though. If Isiah wants him to start at the Power Forward immediaty he's going to have to work extremelly hard this off-season. I'm really looking forward to seeing Robinson play this season. He reminds me of John Starks with a more cheerful personality.
I can't believe I just read Nate Robinson's name next to Starks, and Lee's next to Oakley..................... They're solid players, but chirst they haven't even played one NBA game........now we're jinxed, lol
