HIGH PPG: Rudy Gay HIGH RPG: Kyle Lowry A triple OT game will do that for ya. Of the rookies I've seen (I admit only about 7 off that list), Marcus Williams has the most "poise" and is the most ready to lead his teammates.....One of his 7 points tonight was an "AND 1" to give his team the lead at the end of a quarter.
Marcus Williams was very impressive, but I kind of expected him to make an impact right off the bat. Bargnani had a decent game, despite the statline, and deserved more minutes than he got. He showed some nice length and quickness on the blocks and didn't need the ball to be effective. I think Sam Mitchell thought he was coaching a house league team and was obligated to play every player to please their parents.
