If you look at the Stats, Carmelo and Bron are about even in almost everything, and Melo plays 3 less minutes a game, I have to think it will be co-rookies of the year this year if Denver gets int eh playoffs, even if they dont it will be close.
So since they're even, all the people who said Lebron was better than Carmelo can't say much about that now....lol

I just can't see Melo winning the award. The only way I see him getting co-roy with Bron is that Cleveland won't make playoffs. And, by the looks of it, Cleveland is fading.

Im sure that the top 2 spots will change with LeBron being on top.

Don't forget that most of our season was played with Ricky Davis, Darius Miles, an Ilgauskas that did not give a sh*t, and an 18/19 year old point guard straight out of HS while the Nuggets were decked out with veteran talent. Enough Cavs though. Gee, what's up with all that talk about if there were more threads about Melo in the Denver forum? Wait, we never ever had Nugget fans here, go figure.
KJ, I'm a Nugget fan Anyway, I agree with cArMeLo15 that Melo can't win ROY alone. The most he can do is share it with surefire winner LeBron if the Cavs don't make the playoffs and the Nuggets do. I think LeBron winning it has got a lot to do with all that hype that he rightfully managed to not only meet, but exceed. If both teams make it to the playoffs, Melo has still got a chance to share the award with LeBron. But if somehow Cavs make it and Nuggets don't, Melo won't win it, the fat lady has sung.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Don't get me started. I will go there, and own you.</div> No you won't. No one can win this argument. I like the way Tom Tolbert said it. If you look at their stats without the names next to them, you couldn't tell much of a difference. Now if you compare records, the Cavs are +15 and the Nuggets are +24. You could say that Melo had better talent around him but its amazing the numbers he is putting up despite playing fewer minutes and not handling the ball most of the game.
I think it should come down to who makes their team better because of what they do on the court and also who plays better defense. Stats can always be inflated so it looks good on paper.

Plus, even more amazing, is that the Nuggets are doing this in the western conference not the weak east.

And again, assists mean nothing... Blind...nah, not blind, stupid is more like it. The stats are NOT close, period.
