Thirteen receivers and only five starting positions make for a highly competitive camp for the players and some difficult decisions for the Edmonton Eskimos coaching staff.

Thus, receivers coach Jason Tucker is paying close attention, especially to the newcomers attempting to dislodge veterans in the receiving corps that last year was -- at times -- a one-man attack featuring Fred Stamps.

Tucker, just a few seasons removed from being one of the CFL's premier pass catchers, likes what he's seen of the new crop, saying the scouts and management "did a good job searching out talent and bringing in guys who will compete and push the incumbents for jobs."
