<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kyle Korver is the ex-Net the New Jersey Nets never knew. The 76ers rookie forward was a member of his first NBA organization for, oh, maybe 5 minutes.

That was June 26, when the 6-7, two-time Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year became the No. 51 overall pick by the Nets in the second round of the NBA draft. There was no way he could have known that, even as his name was being called, Sixers president/general manager Billy King was on the phone, sending about $100,000 to the Nets for his rights.

Earlier, King had sent the No. 50 pick, France's Paccelis Morlende, and a similar amount of money to Seattle for Detroit Mercy guard Willie Green, who had been chosen No. 41 by the SuperSonics.</div>

    Full Story...

Both of them were sleepers in the draft, I think they will do wonders this year. Korver has an amazing outside shot, while Green is a force to be reckoned with in the air, he has a 41 inch vertical that will wow fans this season.

Some think Willie Green could be the steal of the draft...He has had two 18 point performances the last two games...And this article I found was quite interesting on him..It's a good read

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Willie Green slashed to the basket, hung in the air, and threw down a hook dunk that delighted the crowd of about 3,000 that showed up yesterday for the 76ers' open practice at the Palestra

Against Washington, he slashed to the basket and finished or got fouled. Against San Antonio, his outside shot was working, and he drained 3 of 5 from three-point range. Overall, he made 13 of 24 field-goal attempts in the two games.
