    You're late to that party.

$20M cap hit through the end of his contract. Plan accordingly.

Arenas was traded, so anything is possible.

So much for my wait-and-see strategy. I coulda sworn I had read that the average return time of a NBA player for a torn medial meniscus was 40 days. Oh well.

It seems that 90% of Bulls nation is screaming "TANK!!!!"

I'm against tanking. I don't believe the Bulls can successfully compete with some of the other teams in the East when it comes to abject failure...those other teams have been planning for this season for months. Besides, if the Bulls attempted to tank and were really bad at it, I'm not sure I could handle the embarrassment.

I don't see this as a total rebuild. Unless some other team comes in and knocks Jerry Krause's socks off (sorry, I couldn't resist), Noah, Butler, Gibson, Mirotic and Rose are a decent core.

Once we all become at peace with the fact that this season has prematurely ended, things are going to get real quiet in Bullsland. On the bright side, if anyone out there has never seen a Bulls game in person because of the cost, there should be some very affordable tickets available starting right now.
