DAN MORGAN, LB (agent: Drew Rosenhaus)
Yes, it's Rosenhaus in the middle of another important renegotiation, this one with Carolina's pivotal middle linebacker. Although Morgan plans on reporting to camp regardless, minds can change as players are due to report. Morgan and the Panthers are reportedly far apart on the dollars, with Rosenhaus seeking a deal better than the six-year, $26.5 million deal he negotiated for Giants LB Antonio Pierce

he is 27...he has played 4 years now, but has never played in more than 12 games in a season, and averages only 10 games per...i don't think we need to sink too much money into him...Witherspoon is also looking for an extension...he is 2 years younger, has more tackles and sacks, and has played in more games than morgan...he has only missed 1 game in his 3 seasons...i would probably rather have him and look to the draft to replace morgan if necessary...

The Panthers need to get Witherspoon and Morgan signed because once we win the Super Bowl they teams will be after them
