Just one day after decommitting from Penn State, cornerback Ross Douglas (Avon, Ohio/Avon) has committed to Michigan.

The four-star prospect, who will be in the Wolverines' Class of 2013, says that he felt welcomed and wanted in Ann Arbor.

"Michigan reoffered me today, and they offered me the first time back in April," Douglas said Tuesday. "Coach (Brady) Hoke and (defensive coordinator Greg) Mattison said they wanted me in this class and they were re-offering me. That just showed me how much they wanted me in this class."

Douglas' decommitment came after the NCAA announced heavy sanctions against Penn State for its handling of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

Douglas said he and his parents were not comfortable talking about his reason for decommitting, but that he is 100 percent comfortable with his decision.

His commitment to Michigan wasn't much of a surprise, because the Wolverines were high on his list the first time around. Douglas made a visit to Ann Arbor during the 2011 season when Michigan played Notre Dame under the lights, an event that ended up being one of Michigan's best recruiting tools for the Class of 2013.
