Omar Cook, Carl English, and Michael Smith have been cut. Unlike English, Cook was given tons of playing time, and besides his first game where he had 13 pts and 2 stl he was awful.
Cook shot awful, but his play overall wasn't bad at all. He D's and passes better than tinsely, and Tinsley isn't exactly a sharpshooter himself. I think cook will be a good player in a few years somewhere else. Remeber he's only 21 years old. I think they would've kept cook if Jamison Brewer wasn't still under guarentteed contract. English was awful though, one dimensional and that dimension wasn't very good anyways.
I was rooting for my countryman. It's too bad that English didn't make it. After all that it's even more of a shame that he didn't play for Canada in the Olympics. So much was expected from Cook. I hope that he finds his shot and a place in the L soon.
